Assignment 2 - My passion for the English language

I wasn't always very good in school. That is the reason I have so much interest in teaching languages. It takes a special person to work with students that can't even communicate on a basic level. There are also so many emotions attached to this subject on a deep level. And that's the way I like to work -- on things that are deeply meaningful.

Assignment 1 - Good and Bad Experiences with teachers

I'm not sure that I have particular experiences that stand out to me. I have many good memories of teachers being friendly and dedicated, trying to engage us with the material. I was a shy, awkward students that needed special attention from my teachers. When I got that it made all the difference. I have one journalism teacher in high school who, regardless of how little I cared about the class, she never gave up on me. She always encouraged me. I can't say that I can to that for students with similar issues.
